Blue Bloods Actor Reacts to Being Recast in Boston Blue Spinoff

Andrew Terraciano, who portrayed Sean Reagan on Blue Bloods for more than a decade, is speaking out after learning he would not reprise his role in the upcoming spinoff Boston Blue. The actor, who grew up on the long-running CBS series, addressed the recasting with grace and appreciation for his time on the show.

Terraciano shared that while the news came as a surprise, he remains grateful for the years he spent playing Sean and for the support he received from fans. He also expressed goodwill toward the new actor stepping into the role, emphasizing that he wishes the cast and crew success as the franchise moves in a new direction.

Boston Blue marks a fresh chapter in the Blue Bloods universe, shifting focus to a different city while continuing the legacy of the Reagan family. Though Terraciano won’t be part of the spinoff, his response reflects a respectful farewell to a character he portrayed for 14 seasons.
