Kevin Costner’s Motion to Dismiss Harassment Suit in ‘Horizon 2’ Case Rejected

A Los Angeles judge has rejected Kevin Costner’s request to dismiss a harassment lawsuit filed by a stunt performer who worked on Horizon: An American Saga — Chapter 2. The performer alleges she was subjected to inappropriate conduct and a hostile work environment during production.

Costner, who directs, produces, and stars in the western epic, has denied the allegations through his legal team, calling them “baseless” and “without merit.” The court’s ruling allows most of the claims to move forward, meaning the case will now proceed to the discovery phase.

Horizon: An American Saga — Chapter 2 is the follow-up to Costner’s ambitious western project, which he has been developing and financing independently. Representatives for Costner and the plaintiff have not yet commented publicly on the latest decision.
