The Blue Bloods<\/em> universe continues to expand with CBS\u2019 spinoff series Boston Blue<\/em><\/strong>, and several familiar faces have already crossed over from the original show \u2014 sometimes in surprising ways.<\/p>\n

Donnie Wahlberg as Detective Danny Reagan<\/strong><\/h4>\n

Unsurprisingly, the biggest crossover is Donnie Wahlberg reprising his iconic role as Danny Reagan<\/strong>. After Blue Bloods<\/em> ended in December 2024, Wahlberg\u2019s character is the central figure in Boston Blue<\/em>, relocating from the NYPD to join the Boston Police Department. This transition sets up the new series, as Danny navigates his career in a new city while balancing family responsibilities.<\/p>\n
