Before becoming a familiar face to fans of Blue Bloods, one of the show’s stars was once lined up for a role in the DC superhero movie Green Lantern. However, the part ultimately didn’t make it into the finished film.

The connection is an interesting piece of Hollywood history, especially for fans who know the actor primarily from the long-running CBS police drama. While Green Lantern was expected to launch a major superhero franchise, the movie went through changes during production, and not every planned character or storyline survived the process.

The Blue Bloods star’s involvement was one of those plans that never reached the screen. The role was cut, meaning viewers never got the chance to see the actor appear alongside the film’s main cast.

For fans looking back at the actor’s career, the story offers a fascinating “what if?” moment. Had the role remained in the movie, the actor’s filmography might have included a very different chapter years before Blue Bloods became a major part of their career.

Ultimately, the part being removed from Green Lantern became a little-known Hollywood footnote—but it remains a surprising connection between the beloved police drama and DC’s superhero universe.

Blue Bloods’ Star Nearly Joined ‘Green Lantern’—But the Role Was Cut Before becoming a familiar face to fans of Blue Bloods, one of the show’s stars was once lined up for a role in...

[1

post-1311","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-uncategorized
["GET
